Before I bought a Tesla and knew about this poor quality, fatally faulty autopilot system, I thought Elon was a genius, now I think they are fraud.
From Day 1, US government has been subsidying heavily on those Tesla vehicle sales to ensure its affordability to the US majority. Do the math (US country high national debt + China EV better price and product + Tesla losing market share + most importantly, nobody want Tesla anymore + warren buffett don't want it = ????)

From my observations, Tesla reinventing itself as a developing brand, with high R&D cost, poor cash liquidity, thin margin and losing market share. Musk is adopting the extreme measures (large layoff) to cover up the poor financial results and shifting people focus with those ambitious and unproven busines model, with challenging outlook. More share issuance is expected to fund the business. Expect the share price to drop by another 30% by year end.
gee, because EVs are such an established business model, Tesla has zero debt and a mountain of cash compared with say Toyota that has a mountain of debt and declining cash on hand, disruption on multiple fronts is a recipe for massive growth, look at Google and Amazon.

Tesla has committed consumer fraud on a massive scale, from lying about FSD, ranges, and (recently, unconfirmed!) even inflating odometers. Many times now, also securities fraud.
NIO's Ledo L60 electric vehicle will debut on May 15. The vehicle is said to benchmark the Tesla Model Y. It will also be priced around 10% less than Tesla's.
